Other Works

Schltz is Eric Schultz, who also composes music for (slightly) more traditional ensembles. Below is a small sampling of some of these pieces, including recordings, scores, and other information as appropriate.

If anyone is interested in performing any of these pieces, please contact Eric Schultz directly.

Plastic Parts, for symphony orchestra and electronics. Commissioned and premiered by the Iowa State University Symphony Orchestra.

Times, for wind band and electronics. Commissioned and premiered by the San Jose State University Wind Symphony.

Engineered, for percussion and electronics. Composed for Douglas Nottingham.

Unnoticed Episodes of Seduction, Desperation and Cannibalism on an Otherwise Perfectly Enjoyable Midwestern Evening is an open instrument meditation on the secret life of fireflies. The sounds accompany an unedited, grainy video of fireflies shot in the Ozarks in July of 2005. This is my most performed piece.

Simple Four-Hand Fugue in G Minor is exactly what the title implies. Written for pleasure. Perform freely with love.

Half As Much As Love is an album (full listen here) by Casey Hurt that I produced and co-mixed with a number of very talented people.
